Clean Ups

The Range of Light Group maintains a two-mile section of Highway 395, north of Mammoth Lakes near the Crestview Rest Stop.  We normally clean "our highway" three times a year -- the Wednesday morning after our monthly Tuesday evening meeting, in May, July, and September. We also have a section of Mammoth that we do on Town Clean Up days. Over the years we have also done clean-ups at area lakes.

Next Highway Cleanup Date - will be announced in Spring 2010.

Come join us in cleaning up our adopted section of Hwy 395. Who knows what discarded treasure you may find! Your best reward will be- doing something beneficial while getting a little exercise. If eight to ten people show up we will finish in about two hours. Pick-up tools, garbage bags, gloves, hard hats (required) and safety vests provided. Afterwards enjoy provided refreshments and share experiences. Meet 8 am at Crestview Rest Area on Highway 395 about five miles north of Mammoth Lakes Hwy 395/203 intersection.
